Project Description

SES Volunteers Association – Develop Corporate Communication

Client Brief:  Develop a corporate marketing communication video which uses images of volunteers to draw a stronger brand association.

Ripple Studios developed a short visual concept “I’m a Volunteer” by bringing together the higher level moral values of people who “give” back to their communities, with a pathway to action and brand connection – all wrapped in a high action story of human endeavour and empathy.

Inspired by the works of other local artists and filmed using Ripple Studio’s state of the art aerial stabilising systems on location in the beautiful bush-scape of Australia’s Kuringai National Park, the story follows the individual activities of six real-life volunteers as they engage in a number of search and rescue disciplines, coming together as a close knit team to perform final rescue and recovery of an injured person found laying unconscious on a difficult-to-access escarpment.

The film explores the moral value’s and attributes of true volunteering contribution and highlights the resilience of volunteers in their duty to the community.  It demonstrates the team camoraderie and technical skills of belonging to a high performing team and culminates in a pathway to becoming a volunteer by establishing a clear brand association with the Volunteers Association.

Given the non-profit structure of the client organisation the project represented a significant philanthropic contribution by the Ripple Group including; filming, production, post production and voice engineering,  along with the composition and engineering of a unique music score by Studio Ripple.
